As the company evolved,
Johann is also a seasoned speaker and shares his research findings and practical experience on a regular basis. He has presented at more than 50 corporate finance-related seminars since 2008 – in South Africa’s major business centres and abroad, in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Adding to his Chartered Accountant qualification, Johann completed a Master’s Degree in Financial Management in 2006. He has lectured accounting and finance university students and is a contributing author of Financial Management - From theory to practice, a new university textbook for Accounting Honours students.
Johann resides in Johannesburg and in his spare time makes the most of the favourable South African climate, frequently enjoying outdoor activities such as golf, swimming and scuba diving. He is also a keen skier, an activity he enjoys with his wife and daughter.
As a transaction advisor, Johann de Lange has built a strong support team, assisting with research, transaction structuring and process administration. The support of this team enables the transaction advisor to focus on transaction strategy, synergy maximisation, negotiations, facilitation and closing the deal.

Cobie is a chartered accountant and registered tax practitioner with more than 16 years’ experience in tax. She assists Pollination Capital with tax planning on transaction structures, also providing valuation and financial analysis support.
Cobie was the co-founder of the tax arm of
Cobie also headed up the Tax Technical Division at the SARS Large Business Centre (LBC) which functioned as an in-house tax advisory/consulting service to LBC tax auditors. Her duties included serving on several SARS tax committees, namely, the Objections and Penalty Committee, Tax Appeals Committee and Legislation Committee.
